It all started back in 2019. Alexander Stein, creator of Monkey 47, was sitting in a taxi on the way back to his hotel after a business meeting. The radio was playing Horse with No Name, the biggest hit by US folk band America and a real earworm from the 1970s. It's a brilliant track with a great title! And the initial inspiration for a spirit that refuses to be pigeonholed and has made it its mission to redefine taste: a bourbon that takes the sensory experience to a whole new, unexpected level of flavour by adding a drop of habanero distillate. Shortly after that taxi ride, The Horse's Spirit Company was founded and Horse with No Name – Bourbon infused with Habanero started to ride into the tumblers and shot glasses of epicurean barflies all over the world.
